Extraordinary Contributions to Citizenship & Extracurricular Activities Profile
Admission under the Extraordinary Contributions to Citizenship & Extracurricular Activities category is designed to recognize a candidate's commitment to “extra-curricular activities and active citizenship” through ongoing contributions to school and community life. Students who feel that their average will fall marginally below the University's minimum admission requirements and who have made significant contributions are eligible to submit a profile.
Eligibility
For admission consideration in this category you must: #1. Be in your final year in an accredited high school that provides a basis of admission sufficient for admission to Western's main campus, #2. Submit a full-time application for first-year studies to Western's main campus by the appropriate application deadline, and #3. Your average must be marginally below the admission average that will be set for our May round of offers.
Method of Selection
A selection committee composed of University staff will adjudicate the applications. Candidates will be notified in late May after Grade 12 grades received in April have been reviewed. Admission decisions will be communicated in mid May in writing.
Deadline
The Extraordinary Extracurricular Activities and Contributions to Citizenship profile must be received at, Undergraduate Admissions, Western Student Services Building, Room 3140; The University of Western Ontario; London, ON N6A 3K7 by April 2, 2012. Submission of this form is voluntary.
