British Columbia and Yukon Assessment Criteria

 

To assess admissibility for applicants from either British Columbia or Yukon, Western uses four acceptable courses numbered 12, including English 12. As well, to maintain your admission status, you must receive your secondary school diploma or certificate required to graduate by June.

If taking English 12, English 12 First Peoples, Communications 12, Français Langue Première 12, BC First Nations Studies 12 or Études des Prem Nations de la C.B. 12, your final grade for these courses will be used in the calculation of your average. Applicants are not required to take all of these courses for admission.

Those who are considering Western in the future and are entering grade 10, should enroll in the "Common Grade 10 Mathematics" to ensure the correct path toward Western's grade 12 math requirements.
