The School of Kinesiology ensures a balanced approach to discovering and exploring the uniqueness of human movement through both bioscientific and sociocultural inquiry. This involves studying the structures, mechanics and functions of body parts involved in movement as well as associated mental, emotional and cultural factors. From the molecular response resulting from exercise stress, to psychological interventions improving injury rehabilitation, to cultural and gender issues associated with participation in exercise, or to the ethical issues of doping in sport, our School is well equipped to complement your area of interest.

The School of Kinesiology is strategically positioned within the Faculty of Health Sciences, providing collaborative and interdisciplinary opportunities. Our School has access to state-of-the-art teaching, laboratories, athletic facilities, and a 3-D anatomy classroom. The School of Kinesiology is accredited by the Canadian Council of University Physical Education and Kinesiology Administrators (CCUPEKA).
